Hi everyone, for the question attached below, I am confused as to how to fill in the outcomes for the tree diagrams and what the probabilities might be. Can someone please help?

We can help.

Please show whatever you have tried, even if you think it is just a wild guess. Then we can help you correct anything that is wrong, or decide what to do next.

Do you have any examples of what a completed tree diagram looks like (in the form used in your class)? If not, here are some examples:

Starting with what they gave you, what is the other possible outcome after Z wins the first game? What are the two outcomes after H wins the first game? And so on. (Keep in mind that the game ends when anyone has won twice.)

After you've done that, you can move on to part b, which likely has to do with probabilities.

Hi, I've tried probability without replacement e.g 2/3 - 1/1 = 1/2 chance Zahra will win the second game.

By "without replacement", you probably mean that the second game is considered to be independent of the first (which is what they mean by "In any game ..."). But that just means that you put 2/3 on each Z branch. There is no subtraction involved.

But also, your subtraction of fractions is incorrect. (You can't just subtract the numerators and the denominators.)

Can you tell us more about your thinking, so we can discuss it?
