The position s(t) of an object moving along a straight line is given. Find object's velocity and acceleration and all times where acceleration is 0.
s(t) = 2t^4 - 5t^3 + t - 3
velocity s'(t) = 8t^3 - 15t^2 + 1
acceleration s"(t) = 24t^2 - 30t
0 = 24t^2 - 30t
0 = 6t(4t - 5)
0 = t
0 = 4t - 5
5 = 4t
5/4 = t
Hmmm....could I get some reassurance on that last part?
