This was actually a three part question, but I was just getting stuck on the first part.

Code:
Given the following integral and value of n, approximate the following integral using the methods indicated (round your answers to six decimal places):

 1
S e^(-3x^2) dx, n=4
 0

Trapezoidal Rule: ?

I think firstly I am just confused as to what I use the n=4 for :? Any suggestions?

By the way, a bit off topic but I was just curious as to how I can post math symbols on here. For example integral signs, theta, squared, etc. Thanks.

To learn how to format with LaTeX, please scroll up to the top of the page, and follow the bottom three links in the "Forum Help" pull-down menu.
