This website https://www.coursera.org/ offers some (free) online classes ranging from introductory to advanced classes. From the FAQ, some professors offer a certificate of completion if you do well. There are graded assignments, quizzes and sometimes exams.

They are from great schools to boot.

Thank you for sharing Daon ... I am going to take advantage of those.

Unfortunately, they don't have a primer video on Cricket - Denis would have loved that......
 
I signed up for the following course, although I might not have Internet access after August.


Calculus: Single Variable

Robert Ghrist

This course provides a brisk, entertaining treatment of differential and integral calculus, with an emphasis on conceptual understanding and applications to the engineering, physical, and social sciences.

The course will serve equally well as a first university-level course in Calculus or as a review from a novel perspective.



Looking forward to at least watching the initial lectures, before possibly becoming a Penn dropout.


(Btw, this primer video is better, Denis. In particular, pay close attention from 1:59 through 2:09.)

I just received notification that this course is delayed until next year.

I had also signed-up for another course, as a backup (Basic Behavioral Neurology). That course is also delayed, now.

It is not easy to plan enrollment in on-line courses, when the dates keep changing. :(
