Hello everyone. I'm sorry if I posted this in the wrong place if I did. I'm trying to find out what how to use my TI calculator to find the answer. This is a circuits class, and my teacher said I'm allowed to use the calculator. I know this is a math forum, but this part deals with math. Do I need a program for my TI calculator to do this, or is it already able to do this problem. On a video I watched, the instructor said its a system of equations. I have a TI-86Untitled.jpg

I don't have such a calculator, so I am just commenting on the equation itself. What you have shown (or at least what came through!) is NOT a system, but rather a single equation in two unknowns. You need to have a second (independent) relationship between V1 and V2 in order to be able to solve for a unique solution. What you can do is solve for V2 as a function of V1, and the calculator could plot that as a straight line.

yea, there are 3 equations in total. Honestly its not hard, I could do it without the calculator, the just find the answers using the matrix part in my calculator. It was more of curiosity, but thanks.
