I know how to use the formula
m=Y2-Y1
X2-X 1

In this problem: P(2,square root7); Q(square root 7,2) how do you do this problem with a square root in the problem?

Note: the 7 is suppose to be under a square root symbol. I don't know how to kae the symbol.

Thank you

It doesn't matter about the square roots. There is a simple observation to make. Set it up and take a peek.

\(\displaystyle \frac{2-\sqrt{7}}{\sqrt{7}-2}\)

What does that equal?.

In other words, what does \(\displaystyle \frac{a-b}{b-a}\) equal?.
