The Natural Log

I'm taking this Coursera course to refresh my math but this part of the video is bothering me. From what I know, log_e is the natural logarithm, ln. So the end result, shouldn't it all be equal to ln x not ln e?

Yes, you are correct, the argument of the natural log function should be \(x\). I'm sure that was a typo.

Yes, it should. Taken exactly as written, the equality only holds when \(x = e\) too.

Okay, thank you all for your replies. I'm going to report this problem and see how they fix it. I have reported a problem before on a pdf document and they quickly fixed it, however, I wonder how they will deal with video. Thank you all @ksdhart2 and @MarkFL I just wanted to be sure before I report it.
