The reason the Chain Rule was at least an entire section in your textbook is that the lessons are, I'm afraid, rather involved.

Since we cannot teach the needed lessons within this environment, please consider some of the lessons available online, or else hire a tutor who can work with you, face to face, for a few hours to teach you this information.
