Hi,

How can I use a given geometric series to find the taylor series?? Are there specific steps to do that ??

Like use the geometric series 1/ (1-x) = Summation k = 0 to inifinity x^k to find the taylor series representation of

1/x centered at x = 1

How can I solve it ?? What is 1/x centered at x = 1 means?

Please help. Thanks in advance.

Rewrite \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{x}\) as \(\displaystyle \frac{1}{1-(1-x)}\)
