I got a interesting answer for this, if anyone whos interested wants to check this go for it.

so I have a vector valued funtion

r(t)=<cost + tsint, sint - tcost, 3>

I used the formula [r'(t)*r''(t)]/ magnitude of r'(t)

I end up t/t or 1 for my answer... does that sound right... 1? not very unique. hmmmm

I used a computer algebra system to check this.
If t>0 then aT(t)=1.
If t=0 then aT(t)=0.
If t<0 then aT(t)=-1.
