I need to find an equation of the plane tangent to r at point P, where P is approximately P(54, 44.33434, 60.25661). My answer needs to be in the form z(x,y)=
I found Ru and Rv and crossed them. Then I found the values of u and v at the point P (u=3, v=2) and found the normal vector for those values. I then found the equation of the plane to be
z=3.348x+2.039y+30.1283
But the computer tells me that this is wrong. I'm fairly certain my process is correct, so I'm guessing there's an error somewhere in the calculation. Can anyone check to see if they get the same answer as me?
