Hi could anyone please help me solve this...

Multiply 2nd equation by 5 to get 10x + 15y - 5z = -45, then add to 3rd equation....get it?
 
I'm In 9th Grade, This is homework, It is a challenge problem, I was put in an Honors Algebra 2 class because i scored advanced on the state test by one point and I don't understand it.

A user named "drago" posted the problem (1st post), and then you, scott, asked
about that same problem beginning with the 3rd post.

Why do you have two different usernames?

I don't i am a different person. I don't understand how to solve the problem though
 
Let's put it this way. I know how to do them, I don't understand what to do though because the z is missing in the first equation
 
Ok. So now I got rid of the X using the second and third equation by multiplying the second equation by -2 and then adding and go the equation -4y+7z=19
