In need of help!!!!!! i cant seem to figure out what to make my 3 equations into,
there is a bar graph, and
the difference between x and y is $8100.
the difference between y and z is $3100.
the total debt of all 3 is $44200 so-
x+y+z=44200
y=x+8100
y=z+3100

now what???

x-y=8100
y-z=3100
x+y+z=44200

is the right way to interpret

and FOR

Ax By Cz M
Dx Ey Fz N
Gx Hy Jz P

Use CRAMER's RULE

DELTA =
DETERMINANT of

A B C
D E F
G H J

DELTAX=

DETERMINANT of

M B C
N E F
P H J

DELTAY=
DETERMINANT of

A M C
D N F
G P J

DELTAY=
DETERMINANT of

A B M
D E N
G H P

THEN

x=DELTAX/DELTA

Y=DELTAY/DELTA

Z=DELTAZ/DELTAZ

where DELTA is the determinant of all coeff.s
DELTAX=determinant of 1st column(x column) replaced by right sides(constants)
DELTAY=determinant of 2nd column(y column) replaced by right sides(constants)
DELTAZ=determinant of 3rd column(z column) replaced by right sides(constants)

FOR Any 3x3 determinant

it is

a b c
d e f
g h j
a b c
d e f

aej+dhc+gbf-ceg-fha-jbd

in your case ::

x-y=8100 (I)
y-z=3100 (II)
x+y+z=44200 (III)

add (I) and (II)
add (I) and (III)

x-z=11200
2x+z=44200

add these

3x=55400

in respective steps do the following :

x-y=8100

plug in x find y

2x+z=44200

plug in x, likewise, get z

and you're done.

thanks for the help I was finally able to figure it out!
it is:
x+y+z=44200
x-y = -8100
y-z= -3100

then in the long run x=8300 y=16400 and z=19500

thanks!! :)
