Find the solution of the system of equations.
1/3x -y=4
x-3y=0
I need some help on how to do this. Thank you.

What happens if you multiply both sides of the first equation by 3? Are you now able to give a response?

Solve the given equation for y, and then you'll see which multiple choice is correct.

Do you know how to solve the given equation for y ? It only takes two steps.

Subtract 3x from both sides, and then divide both sides by 2.
