Can I do synthetic division with a calculator? An example of a problem I am trying to solve is below. Thanks!

Use synthetic division to show that
x= 5
is a root of the equation
x^3 +7 x^2 -28 x -160 = 0.
Use the result to factor the polynomial completely into the form
(x-A) (x-B) (x-C)
Then give the list of values A, B, C you obtain:

What part of the process were you wanting to do in the calculator? I mean, of course you can use a calculator to multiply and add. But did you mean something else?

Thank you.
