If a cardboard tube is cut vertically, it is a rectangle. What is the surface area of a cardboard tube that is 4 inches long with a circumference of 5 inches?

When you do the cutting and get the rectangle, the height of the rectangle used to be the what of the tube? The length of the rectangle used to be the what of the tube? Once you have decided that, use the formula for the area of a rectangle to answer your question.
