Suppose that w is directly proportional to the square of L and inversely proportional to A. If w = 4 when L = 2 and A = 10, find w when L = 5 and A = 20.
This is how I have been trying to solve it:
w = (KL^W)/A
Then I solve:
w = (k*4*4)/10 = 1.6
Then I replace 1.6 for k:
k = 1.6*25/20 = 2
But the book says the answer is 12.5. I don't get it. Please help me. Thank you!
