! Stumped - I've hit a wall - PLEASE HELP. "..3-digit lock.. Remainder Theorem?"

Folks,

I am stumped here.

THERE'S A 3 DIGIT LOCK;
IT'S BETWEEN 100-200
WHEN YOU DIVIDE THE 3 DIGITS BY 4, YOU GET A REMAINDER OF 2
WHEN YOU DIVIDE THE 3 DIGITS BY 7, YOU GET A REMAINDER OF 3

Q: WHAT'S THE 3-DIGIT #?

DO WE USE A POLYNOMIAL THEORY HERE?

CAN SOMEONE GIVE ME A WRITE UP OF THE STEPS AND THE FORMULA?

MUCH APPRECIATED.

To get a complete worked solution, you'll need to hire a service which offers such. (FreeMathHelp is not one of those "cheetz" places!) Be sure to use a low-credit-limit card to pay, as many ("most"?) of such sites are scammers. :shock:

THERE'S A 3 DIGIT LOCK;
IT'S BETWEEN 100-200
Does this mean that the three-digit number is between 100 and 200?

WHEN YOU DIVIDE THE 3 DIGITS BY 4, YOU GET A REMAINDER OF 2
WHEN YOU DIVIDE THE 3 DIGITS BY 7, YOU GET A REMAINDER OF 3
Does this mean that you are dividing the three-digit number by 4 and 7?

When you reply, please include a clear listing of your thoughts and efforts so far, starting with how you expressed the divisions and remainders. Thank you! ;)
