I am still looking for help with Sharon invested part of $12,000 @ 4% and the rest at 7%. If the annual income from these investments is $756 how much was invested at each rate?
 
Why are you reposting this? You're not getting the concepts that we've been telling you. I think you need more help than can be provided here. See your teacher ASAP.

I can see it all very clearly now. It was foggy before I wrote that.

Now what?

Let x = the amount invested at 4% and y = the amount invested at 7%.

Then, .04x + .07(12,000 - x) = 756.

I am sure you can take it from here.
