For the second question, what does your book mean by the "billion" with the subscripted "1"?

How do you write 1 billion? 7 Billion? 23 Billion? 99 Billion? 107 Billion? 909 Billion? 1000 Billion? 1350 Billion. Think and you'll get it.

Even if you somehow get the correct answer, if you can't answer the questions above then you don't understand your question.
