Hi, I need help with a few equations, but I don't know how to type it out because I don't know the square root symbol or how you write a square root over another square root. Can someone help me?

Up at the top of the screen is a puple box, hover your mouse over "Forum Help" and click on "Karl's Notes - Typing Math".

The square root of x is written as: sqrt(x)

The square root of the square root of x is: sqrt(sqrt(x)).

The square root of x divided by the sqaure root of y is: sqrt(x)/sqrt(y)

If the numerator was sqrt(x)+1, then write: (sqrt(x)+1)/sqrt(y).

It's very good of you to ask, well done.
