Splitting no with whole no

Can we derive a formula to split a whole no into two parts with whole no.
Eg- Constant(x )+ Constant(y)=100000.
Please help

Please give an example of what you mean.

From what you write it would seem you could split 100000 as 1 + 99999 or 2 + 99998, and so on. Which split is the one you want?

Consider the line x+y = 100000. There are many integer solutions.
