I suppose it depends what country you are in. If in Britain, soccer is like a national religion!
You're starting to translate into American English too! (you wrote "soccer" not "football"). I've started writing "math" now instead of "maths". When do we get our green cards? :ROFLMAO:

Very well spotted. I did write football and then thought, no - it's not worth the confusion - make it soccer! It is a bit more appropriate in Ireland as we have a very popular 'Gaelic football', so soccer is spoken of here too.
I have still resisted 'math' so far, but I notice pupils doing that regularly.

In Australia we say "maths" not "math". Where are you from Cubist and Lex?
 
I think it's just those North Americans. Maybe not even Canada? Any Canadians here - is it math or maths for you?
