[SPLIT] Find equation of line with undefined slope and....

1) When you're finding line equations, what if the problem didn't say it was a perpendicular line but a parallel line? In that case, the only difference is that I don't flip the fraction and change the sign...?

2) How would you find the equation of a line with undefined slope through (3,-1)?

1) If a line is parallel to another line, the slopes are the same, so you don't flip or change any signs.

2) If a line has an undefined slope the equation is x = c is in which c is your constant. So if you have a point of (3, -1) then the equation is x = 3 which makes a vertical line and has a constant x-coordinate of 3.
