I am looking to create a formula for a real estate market study template to determine the amount of competitive area two competing Primary Market Areas (circles) share.
Assumptions: Each PMA (circle) is the same size
Example: The PMA is 5 miles the competitive facility is 4 miles from the subject. What percentage of the competing facilities PMA overlaps with the subjects PMA. How can this be reflected as a formula, in order to calculate the competitive market area percentage for competing facilities at varying distances from the subject property?
