sovling system of equations...help?

2x + y + z = 7
3x + 2y + z = 9
2x + y +2z = 9

Please help. I tried to all them all vertically and tried substitution...but not sure if I am doing any of those correctly.

That is just the standard way to solve a larger system using matrices.
You algebra text surely contains material on matrices.
If you read it, you will see what I did.
