As always, thank you for your assistance. Here is my problem:

The sales of a mature product (one tthat has passed it peak) will go down by the function S(t)=S0e-at, where t is time in years. I need to find sales after 10 years if a=0.16 and S0=97,300.

Here is what I think I need to do to figure it out: Can you push me in the right direction? :)

S(10)=97,300(e)-(0.16)(10)

S(10)=97,300(e)-(0.16)(10)

\(\displaystyle S(t) \, = \, S_0\cdot e^{-at}\)

\(\displaystyle S(10) \, = \, 97300\cdot e^{-0.16\times 10} \, = \, 19644.5312 \, = \, 19,600\)
