Hello again sorry about that I realised it was basic factorising so I could actually do it I don't know what I was on about.
But I'm not sure about this one:
you have to Factorise:
am+a+bm+b
=a(1+m+1)+b(1+m+1)
= (2+m)(a+b)
will that work?
I think that's what its asking but I'm not sure

Thank you if you can help and again sorry.

Factor out a and b:

\(\displaystyle \L\\a(m+1)+b(m+1)\)

Thus you have:

\(\displaystyle \L\\(a+b)(m+1)\)

Check yours by expanding it out:

\(\displaystyle (2+m)(a+b)=2a+2b+ma+mb\)

You were almost there, except the 2 should have been a 1.

Thanks

Thank you so much now I understand it so much better thank you again
