some help please with e equation

(x/(1-x))e^(-6x^2+2x+1)=(1.125)

cant figure out how to solve this, my teacher wrote that the solution is x= 0.244
 
What have you tried so far?
Does any idea come to mind on how to solve equations that you don't know how to simplify?

It would appear that your teacher is incorrect. There apparently are 3 solutions in (0,1), and the smallest is not [MATH].244[/MATH].

Transcendental equations are not picnic. In any event you may figure out the asymptotic behaviour of the function plotted above.
