I have been doing my work. After I completed i send in my questions to you so that I can make sure that I have the correct answer. If I don't I go back to see what I did wrong. So far I got a couple wrong and you showed me where I went wrong. Thanks

These are the problems are already done. I just want to make sure they are correct before turning them in.

1) Simplify the expression: – 3[–(x + 2y) – 3(y – x)]

2) Solve for x: – 16 + x – 3 = 17 – 20 + 9

3) Solve for y: (1/3)(3y + 12) = – 5y – 4(y – 6)

4) Solve for x: (4 + 3x)/5 + (7 – x)/3 = (7/15)

5) Two angles of a triangle measure 34 degrees and 59 degrees. What is the measure of the third angle?

These are the problems are ready done. I just want to make sure they are correct before turning them in.

so ... post your results and I'm sure someone will point out any mistakes.

btw, #2, #3, and #4 can be checked by substituting your solution into the original equation to see if each solution works.

The reason you've been repeatedly asked to show your work is that we can't check your work until you show it to us. Simply telling us (in your other thread, now deleted, on these same exercises) to "get this back to me ASAP cuz its due today" doesn't sound like you've done anything, and doesn't give us much to work with.

Thank you for your cooperation.

Eliz.
