my problem is 5x-2=0. I think o is my y intercept. so that would make my problem 2=5x, divide each side by 5 and slope would be 2/5. Is that correct?

In the equation \(\displaystyle y=mx+b\), the slope is \(\displaystyle m\) and the y-intercept is \(\displaystyle b\).

if the equation of the line is:

x = constant

What type of line is this called?

What is its slope?
