This one question stumped me. Fractions always seem fishy to me and I'm not entirely sure if this is correct-- help please? D:

| 22-3n=5 |

22-3n = 5
3n = 5 - 22
3n = -17
3n/3 = -17/3
n = 17/3 [?] <---

22-3n = -5
3n = -5 - 22
3n/3 = -27/3
n=-9

Heh... D:

Edit: Ew, bed. ><;
I'll check back tomorrow -- thanks for any help you give me. c: <3

l 22 - 3n =5 l
l 0 = 3n -17 l

l 3n-17 l is a V shaped curve with apex at 17/3. the curve =0 only at 17/3

I don't believe n=9 satisfies the equation

you have solved the following

l A-B=C l can be written as
l A-Bl =lCl or

l 22-3nl = l5l
then 22-3n is a V SHAPED CURVE APEX AT 22/3
5 crosses this curve at x=9 and x=17/3
