I need help with this one: 2x-3>15 or 3-7x>17
Well as I read it, the or means union: \(\displaystyle (-\infty,-2)\cup (9,\infty)\).
Is that not correct?
Start by solving each inequality: if 2x- 3> 15 then 2x> 18 so x> 9.
If 3- 7x> 17 then -7x> 14
so x< 4. \(\displaystyle \ \ \ \ \ \ \ \)<----- I don't know what happened here.
@lookagain thank you for your defense. The above *is* correct.
