Solve w = (3y - x)/y for y

Solve c = (-2t + 4)/t for t

I've been trying to figure out these problems for a long time now. I would appreciate it if someone could give me step-by-step soultions to both of these problems. I accidentally put the wrong problems in my last post.

\(\displaystyle \L
\begin{array}{rcl}
w & = & \frac{{3y - x}}{y} \\
yw & = & 3y - x \\
yw - 3y & = & - x \\
\left( {w - 3} \right)y & = & - x \\
y & = & \frac{{ - x}}{{w - 3}} \\
\end{array}\)

How do these differ from those you posted in your other thread, posted on Friday? What progress have you made?

Thank you.

Eliz.
