Solve the system.

y=x^2
y=x-1/4

i know how to do other ones without fractions, but this one has a fraction so i can't think of how to work it out..... I'm so sleepy, plz help me out with this question.

y=x^2
y=x-1/4

Try substitution of one equation into the other. Then solve.

x^2 = x - 1/4

Alternatively, subtract one equation from the other. Then solve. Either way should work.

0 = x^2 - (x - 1/4)

How do you solve a quadratic?
