Here is my work ... which is wrong please show me where I went wrong

-4(2y-8)<-12y+12
-8y+32<-12y+12
-32 -32

-8y < 12y-10
-12y -12y

-20y < -10
-20 -20

y> - 1/2

the correct answer is y<-5 where did I go wrong

-8y < 12y-10=====> Right here! Should be -8y < -12y - 20
-12y -12y

-20y < -10
-20 -20

y> - 1/2

the correct answer is y<-5 where did I go wrong
.

Thanks

Thank you so much!! I also see that I dropped the (-) sign that was before 12y and this is also why I got the wrong answer.
