(x-1)(x-6)(x-7)</-(less than or equal to 0)

a) (-infinity,1) or (6,7)
B) (-infinity,1] or [6,7]
C) (-infinity,1] or [1,6] or [6,7] or [7,infinity]
D) [1,6] or [7, infinity]
E) (-infinity, infinity]

I was thinking it's c...am I correct?

Re: solve the following inequality

It can't be (c), since all factors are positive if x > 7.

How did you arrive at that conclusion? What was your reasoning? What were your steps?

Please be complete. Thank you! :D
