solve the equation

Q: 3/(2x-1)=1/x

A: i was thinking to cross musltiply, but i can't get it to work

Why not?

(3/(2x-1))=1/x -- cross multiply
3x=2x-1
3x-2x=-1
x=-1

btw, this is not calculus
