I have to solve for Vm (molar volume, the m is just a subscript) but I don't know how to because of the exponent

P= (RTe^(-a/(RTVm)))/(Vm-b)

I only got this far:

PVm - Pb = RTe^(-a/(RTVm))

Please help.

I also have to solve this equation for T
Since you have "T" "on the ground" and also in an exponent, I don't think this equation can be solved for T. The same goes for V[sub:3ljit2p4]m[/sub:3ljit2p4]. :shock:

Have done any calculus - specifically series expansion of 1/(1-x) and e^x?

Am I supposed to use the series expansion in order to solve for T and for Vm?
