Solve the inequality. Graph the solution set.
|2x-2|-1>-6

I had a similar problem which didn't have a negative number in front of the 6 and I got correct. It was a 6 as oppose to a negative. I'm assuming the negative sign is may be causing me to do something wrong. Please help. Thank you!

\(\displaystyle \\|2x-2|-1>-6\\|2x-2|>-5\)

If \(\displaystyle |u|>-5\) then that is true for any value of \(\displaystyle u\).

So the graph is the whole number line.
