Use

if a * b = 0 then either a = 0 or b = 0

i think i said that wrong...because I cant get a negative number. t=seconds..i think i should have a positive and a negative number..

Following the rule I stated - what do you get for 't'?

Which breaks what math rules, when you try what...?

Are you familiar with how to solve linear equations? If so, then follow the hint provided: The only way for a product to be zero is for at least one of the factors to be zero.

So set the factors equal to zero, and solve! :D
