1. 2n = 4xp - 6
2. 3m - n = 4s
3. r/n + 2 = p
4. t = 100 (n + 3)
5. PV/nR = T
6. 8a = 2n = 6b

You need to at least attempt one of these on your own; showing your work. To start, you need to know how to balance a simple literal equation. What you do to one side, you must do to the other.

We will help, but you must first show that you made an effort.

Cheers!

Can you break it up easier so a 7th grader can understand?

Can you break it up easier so a 7th grader can understand?

1. Divide everything by two (to cancel the coefficient):
n = 2xp - 3

2. Subtract 3m to move it to the opposite side, then divide/multiply everything by -1.

-n = 4s - 3m

n = -4s + 3m = 3m - 4s

Unfortunately, it is not reasonably feasible to provide within this environment the lesson you request, so please review some of the lessons available online.

Once you have studied how to solve literal equations, please attempt at least one or two of these exercises. If you're still getting stuck, please reply showing all of your work and reasoning. (If you aren't able even to get started, then I'm afraid you need more help that we can provide.)

Thank you.

Eliz.
