5x + 4y = 12 Solve for y

So far I've simplified this to

4y = -5x + 12

Am I suppose to go further and simplify it to

y= -5x + 3

To find the equation for y for slopes and slope intercepts?

\(\displaystyle y = -\frac{5}{4} x + 3\)

y= -5x + 3

To find the equation for y for slopes and slope intercepts?
