what is the surface area of a cylindrical ring if its outside diameter is 16 mm and its inside diameter is 10 mm? Round your answer to the nearest whole number.

get wise, wised, and THINK: you got 2 circles, right?
so get their areas, then subtract 'em: capish?

Why d'you think it's a torus, pka?
Why not a simple washer (a circle inside another) ?

Is it really "cylindrical" if the height is zero? Plus, the post is entitled "solids". Very confusing.
