i dont really get it i need it step by steb please any one

n squared = 35-2n

or this one doesnt really matter

xsquared + 7x=0

n squared = 35-2n

n^2 = 35 – 2n

This is a quadratic equation. Start by getting all terms on one side and zero on the other:

n^2 + 2n = 35 – 2n +2n
n^2 + 2n = 35
n^2 + 2n - 35 = 35 – 35
n^2 + 2n - 35 = 0

From here you can either solve by factoring or by using the quadratic formula. Let’s use factoring on this one:

n^2 + 2n - 35 = 0
(n + 7)(n – 5) = 0

Now we just set the individual factors equal to 0 and solve:

n + 7 = 0
n = -7

n – 5 = 0
n = 5

Those are the two solutions to your quadratic equation.
