f(x) = whole sqrt (x + 3)/(x - 2)

so far i have...
1. no y-intercept
2. x-int = -3
3. Vertical asymptote = 2
4. Horizontal asymptote as x --> -oo, y --> 1 from below and as x --> +oo, y --> 1 from above

I will be graded on my graph... so if anyone knows what the graph will look like... i will appreciate it a lot.
Thanks..

Unfortunately, your notation is not suffiently clear.

1) What does "whole" mean in this context?

2) Which do you intend: \(\displaystyle \frac{\sqrt{x+3}}{x-2}\) or \(\displaystyle \sqrt{\frac{x+3}{x-2}}\)?

3) Please demonstrate the reasons for your views.

4) With all that information, set up some coordinate axes and start drawing.

Are the instructions to "graph the function"? (Subject lines very frequently have nothing to do with the contents of the associated post, and no instructions were included with the actual exercise. Please pardon my mistake if the instructions were something else. :oops: )

Thank you! :D
