y=4 sin(-4-pi)

so far i got

Amplitude = 4
Period = -pi/4 ( this is were i got confuse, can period be negative?)
phase shift= -pi/4 (can phase shift be negative?)

What you've typed here is a constant function because the expression 4 sin(-4 - Pi) is just a Real number.

I mean, if we round this Real number to two places, then we see that you typed:

y = -3.03

This function's graph is a horizontal line with y-intercept at (0, -3.03)

I suspect that the function they actually gave you to graph contains the variable x somewhere.

Please correct your post. 8-)
