Sorry if I have posted this in the wrong forum, I'm just not too sure what it would come under.

So I m having issues with this one question. I have two equations that I need to solve simultaneously, but I don t know how to let alone how to show the working out. They are Y=-4x+4 and Y=2x+2

I had to make a graph using points that were given to me, and now I need to solve a simultaneous equation for them and show all working, but I'm confused and don't really understand how to do this at all. Sorry if I haven't explained the question too well, I'm just so confused. Thanks in advance.

What have you been taught about solving simultaneous equations in your class?

What does your class notes say?

What does your text-book say?

Go to:

http://www.purplemath.com/modules/systlin1.htm

and do the excersizes to learn.

You have explained the questions well enough - now you need to show some work following advice above....
