It says to solve the system of linear equations. and tell if they are independent, dependent, or inconsistent.

1/2x+1/3y=1/3
1/6x+1/3y=2/9

Let me see if I have this straight.
1. You come to a website where people are willing to help others with math problems because they love math so much and you choose the user name "algebra stinks".

2. You post problem after problem without showing any attempt to do it yourself in spite of the fact that the forum rules require that.

3. You don't even ask people for help, much less saying "please" or "thank you", you just post the problems.

4. And you expect people to help you?

I am relatively new, but maybe he/she is unsure of the 'rules' of the site, give them the benefit of the doubt.

I am posted some help in one of the other posts algebrastinks, read through and have a go, show your working, and we will go from there.

Fair enough Denis, but in a panic, maybe he didn't read them, and even if he did, I haven't posted the solution in his other posted 'simultaneous 5' but just some help on how to do it :)

willmoore21,

I sent the OP a private message to stop posting without
attempts.

Also, I told him that algebra doesn't stink, in other words
that his attitude does.
