simplifying with exponents

please help...i am simplifying with exponents...not sure if my answer is correct:

problem:
-x^2y^2/x^1/2y^0


i know y^0 = 1
i think the answer is -x3/2y^2 not sure...please help

If your problem is:

\(\displaystyle \frac{-x^2y^2}{x^{\frac{1}{2}}y^0}\)

and if your answer is:

\(\displaystyle -x^{\frac{3}{2}}y^2\)

then you are correct.
